I understand that participating in a Ruck march is a potentially dangerous activity. I should not enter and run/ruck/walk unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run/ruck/walk. I assume all risks associated with participating in the Walk 4 Warriors event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the impact of the weather, including rain, high heat and/or humidity, traffic, and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I am aware that the medical support for this event may be volunteers who will be prepared to administer first aid assistance. I further agree that no refund of any type is allowed as costs of the event are covered through my registration and assumed participation. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the VFW 1318, Walk 4 Warriors, and all volunteers, advertisers, sponsors, their representatives and successors, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I also understand and agree that there are NO entry fee refunds for any reason, including injury. I grant permission to VFW 1318 Walk 4 Warriors for the use of my image or likeness in any recording of this event to be used for advertising, marketing or other legal manners of promotion. I agree to these terms for myself or as the legal guardian of a participating minor.
